About The Positive Birth Place

When you book a service, The Positive Birth Place provides and is responsible for the Platform – but not the service itself.
Our Platform

We do our best to provide you with a great platform, but we can't guarantee that everything you see is always spot-on (we rely on info from our Service Providers). We can't be held responsible for any mistakes, interruptions, or missing info, but we are committed to promptly rectifying any issues to the best of our ability.

Our Platform is not a recommendation or endorsement of any Service Provider or its products, services, facilities, etc.

We are not a party to the terms between you and the Service Provider. The Service Provider is solely responsible for the services, products and experiences offered.
Contractual Relationship

When you make a booking, it’s directly with the Service Provider. We’re not a ‘contractual party’ to your booking.

The Positive Birth Place owns and operates the Platform.

Our Platform only shows Service Providers that have a commercial relationship with us, and it doesn’t necessarily show all their products or services.

Information about Service Providers (e.g. packages, products and services) and their booking experiences (e.g. prices, availability and cancellation policies) is based on what they provide to us. They’re responsible for making sure it’s accurate and up to date.
What we will do

We provide the Platform on which Service Providers can promote and sell their services – and you can search for, compare and book them.

Once you’ve booked your service, we will provide you and the Service Provider with details of your booking, including the names of the participants.

Depending on the terms of your booking, we may be able to help you change or cancel it if you wish to.
What you need to do

Fill in all your contact details correctly, so we and/or the Service Provider can provide you with information about your booking and, if necessary, contact you.

Read these Terms and the terms displayed during the booking process carefully.
Hypnobirthing Classes

All Classes booked via The Positive Birth Place require a non-refundable online deposit of $200 to secure your place.

Full payment is required no later than 7 days prior to class commencement, unless otherwise agreed upon.

With the exception of the deposit, all fees are refundable 7 days prior to class commencement.

No refunds given within 7 days prior to class commencement.

No refunds will be given should you and/or your birth partner decide to not attend a class. If you are unable to attend a class due to unforeseen circumstances, there may be an additional $125 fee charged to reschedule a private session.

Booked classes are not able to be transferred to a different date as stipulated on your invoice, unless previously agreed upon.

The Positive Birth Place facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual Provider/Practitioner of the service and therefore The Positive Birth Place will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.
